As far as the Ueckerts are concerned, every family needs a good dog. The problem is that good dogs are made more than they are born (kind of like disciples). In other words, good dogs don't happen without lots of work. The first time we traveled this bumpy road we had two kids under three. Babies in diapers and a puppy - a recipe for insanity. And Lynlee says, "Amen!" Today is a new day. This time around the work is much easier with kids who are old enough to join in the "fun" of training a dog.
Meet our new puppy, Jax. He is enjoying life with our family and our matriarch black lab is gradually becoming accepting. Nothing like another adventure in our very active household.

You should get him a friend! We have two yellow labs and it makes our life VERY exciting. Many fun stories to tell. Labs are the best.
